About Us:
Van Mall Storage, with over 600 units, was built in 1997. It sits on approximately 5 acres between Andreson Road and 72nd Avenue. We are
an independently owned storage facility. We do not belong to a large franchise system, nor are we contracted out by a parent company.
We take pride in being a locally owned business, and we care about you, our customers, and our community. The facility is well known to be
one of the premier self-storage facilities in the area. We keep our facility very clean and looking nice which makes it more pleasant for
everyone.
We are fortunate to have many previous customers come see us again. It is like having old friends come back to visit. So whether you are
one of our previous customers, a referral, or someone that is coming for the first time we are happy you have found us. We will help in
whatever way we can to make your move as stress free and pleasant as possible.
For those of you coming from another state or country we would be happy to provide any additional services you need. If you are sure of the
unit size you want, we will hold a unit for you for a few days. That way you won’t need to worry if one will be here when you arrive. We can’t
recommend, but we can let you know of some motels, apartments, or restaurants close by our area if you need that information. Just feel free
to let us know what you need and, if possible, we will help you find it.
Let us know right away if you will be having a moving company bring your things in a semi-truck. We reserve special units just for that
purpose. We have special instructions and guidance to make things easier when using this size of moving vehicle.
However you may come to us, we will be here ready to help in any way we can.
About Our Location:
Van Mall Storage is conveniently located in Vancouver, Washington between I-5 and
I-205, just off of SR500. SR 500 runs east and west connecting I-5 and I-205. Exit onto NE Andreson Road off SR 500, Travel north one block
on Andreson Road to the 40th St stoplight. Go east (right) one block and turn north (left) on 72nd Ave. You will see the Van Mall Storage
monument sign located at 4214 NE 72nd Avenue.
About Our Security:
With our security gate you will have access from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 365 days a year. Our customers have their own individual gate code. Our
customers gain access to the facility using their gate code. All gate transactions are recorded and monitored.
At 9:00PM our security gate will lock automatically. It is our policy that no one is allowed onto the property after 9:00PM. If you are locked
inside the gate you must call our gate release phone number to be let out, and a $45.00 fee will be charged. Again, this policy is for the safety
of our customers and the security of their belongings.
We have a modern video surveillance recording system with multiple cameras located throughout the facility. Some of our cameras are
visible some are not visible. We have perimeter fencing all around our facility, and the facility is well lit at night.
About Our Storage Units:
Our units, ranging in size from 4’x5’ to 12’x35’ are all at ground level, providing easy access for loading and unloading.
Our main center aisle that runs the length of our facility is 35’ wide. The aisle in front of our enclosed 12’x35’ “RV” units is 40’ wide. All other
driveways are 25’ wide. It is easy to maneuver large vehicles around the facility.
We have cedar lined climate-controlled units. The temperature in these climate-controlled units is maintained between 65 and 75 degrees
year round to reduce humidity changes.
We have climate-controlled units that are maintained between 50 and 80 degrees year round also.
We have storage units that are heated only and are maintained at a minimum temperature of 50 degrees.
We have standard unheated storage units some of which are accessible from hallways if you want to be out of the rain and others which you
may drive up to for easiest access.
Our 12’x35’ storage units have access doors 10’ wide by 12’ tall. The ceiling heights of these units start at 13’6” and go up from there. These
units can store a 32’ motor home.
Our 10’x30’ storage units have doors that are 8’6” wide by 8’ tall. Some of our 10’x30’ units have two doors, one on each end. The ceiling
heights on these 30’ units start at 9’6” and go up from there.
All of our other 10’ wide units have doors that are 8’ wide by 7’ tall and the ceiling height starts at 8’6”.
Our 10’x40’ units have 2 doors, one on each end.
All of our 5’ wide units have doors that are 3’ wide by 7’ tall and the ceiling height starts at 8’6”.
All of our storage unit doors have a rubber seal along the bottom to help keep debris out. The concrete floors are one to two inches higher
than ground level. Our larger units have lights on a timer for your convenience.
