Truck Rental Rules The driver must be 21 years or older, current driver’s license, proof of insurance showing current effective dates, and credit card all in drivers’ name. $20.00 cash only deposit to reserve the truck plus copy of drivers’ license and insurance. 48 hour notice to cancel or lose deposit. You can also lose your deposit if any part of the agreement is breached, or the truck is not swept out inside, blankets folded, hand truck secured and broom and dust pan back where they belong. The truck rental rate is $39.00 per day, $0.65 per mile, plus tax. Payment made by cash, credit or debit card only. $100.00 credit card deposit is required. This deposit would be refundable when the truck, hand truck, 12 moving blankets, broom and dust pan are returned in the same condition as rented. Any damage to the truck or missing items will be charged at the going rate. Truck rental customer will be responsible for all repair costs. When returning the truck, the gas tank is to be full, and you need to bring us the gas receipt, or a $25.00 charge plus fuel cost will be added to your bill. You must bring in the keys, yellow rental agreement, and your gas receipt to the office. If we are closed the above items need to be placed through the mail slot in our front door. You will need to return the following day to pay for the truck rental. Truck rental is for local use only, within a 40-mile radius of Van Mall Storage. Truck is to be driven only by the person whose name is on the truck rental agreement. No overnight rental allowed. Truck must be parked at Van Mall Storage every night. You must return the truck to Van Mall Storage unloaded before 9:00 pm the date of your rental agreement or you will be charged an additional days rent of $39.00 and $50.00 late fee. No smoking in the truck. Problems with the vehicle, due to negligence, are the renter’s responsibility. New Customer Move In Special Good for one time, one day only, within a two-week period from renting a storage unit. $18.00 plus tax, 40 miles free, $0.65 a mile thereafter.
